God has designed us to connect in community. Together we serve, learn, grow, and build one another up. Together we more fully reflect the image of our creator. This is a beautiful reality but one that can be challenging for pastor’s spouses. We often feel our lives are on display. We are not sure how open or vulnerable we can be in relationships. We worry about how our words or actions in public will impact the ministry of our spouse, the pastor. While navigating these issues may not always be easy, finding life-giving and trustworthy connection with others is so important if we are to become the people God desires us to be. So find ways to CONNECT! It might be with someone over coffee or a group of pastors’ spouses you reach out to in your area. We’d love to have you join us at PSC events and find us online. Our ministry is committed to promoting and developing opportunities for connection.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another…”
