Keynote Speakers

Whitney Wheeler: Whitney grew up in a pastor’s family in Michigan. In 2006, she was in a tragic accident with a group of Taylor University students that resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury and national media attention due to a rare mix up. Since the accident, Whitney’s life has gotten back to a “newer normal.” She is a stay-at-home mom and lives in Indiana with her husband, Matt, and their three children. Whitney speaks publicly of God’s power and love. Her story is published in the book Mistaken Identity and has been featured on shows such as The Kelly Files, Oprah, and The Today Show.

Christin Taylor: Christin is an MK raised in the Wesleyan Church. She lives in Southern Ontario with her MK husband and their school-aged kids. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing and has taught writing for the past ten years. She has published two books, and her work has appeared in the New York Times and Sojourners. Christin is also the chief editor for the Annesley Writers Forum. You can read more about Annesley at

Worship Leader

Elizabeth Rhyno: Elizabeth is a Canadian-turned-Hoosier as of 2016. Wife of twenty years to Scott, mom to three amazing teens, Elizabeth is a worshiper, teacher, and writer. She loves leading in worship, and mentoring other leaders. Elizabeth taught at Kingswood University, and now teaches Flame students who are pursuing ordination. A pastor’s wife for many years, Elizabeth recognizes the value of breaking away together, and looks forward to meeting the Lord with you.

Event Host

Danielle Freed: Danielle has been a pastor’s spouse for 13 years. Along with being a mom and leading her church, she just loves people! She is very lively and fun, and loves to laugh! You’ll often find Danielle meeting people in her community and bargain shopping at thrift stores and garage sales.
